About us

We took the famous quote by Coco Chanel that “everyone needs ropes and ropes of
pearls” to heart and decided to start Perla di Marina in 2003 as a means of accessing the vast choice of pearls found in the Far East. Not only do our buyers regularly visit the Far East to purchase pearls, but most of our designs are unique to us with artistic input from our in-house designer. We have focused on providing affordable jewellery, in numerous colours and using modern and unique designs.

Delivery and Postal / Shipping Costs

Delivery costs are added separately to you invoice. We use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery. Please note that the reliability of the services provided by Royal Mail are beyond our control and we respond to order requests promptly.

Packaging

We are able to supply gift boxes at an additional cost. Please request this at the time of order.

Prices and Stock

Prices may change without prior notice and are effective immediately upon publication.

We generally keep ample stock to meet any demand, however in some circumstances we may be unable to meet a request and in this case will offer an alternative product.

Returns Policy

Our products are checked prior to despatch to ensure they are of the highest quality, however, for your peace of mind, we are happy to accept any product purchased from us for refund, credit or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Unless items are defective, there are a number of conditions and exceptions:

1. All returns must be notified to us by telephone on 01483 722977 within 30 days of receipt.
2. Post the goods unused within the next 7 working days.
3. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to goods in transit and so would recommend that you send them either recorded or special delivery.
4. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns of earrings for pierced ears, due to industry standards relating to hygiene.
5. Shipping and insurance costs are not refundable, although we will not charge you an additional shipping/postal charge for replacements.
6. Upon receipt of your goods, we will process the replacement/refund within 7 working days.

Disclaimer

Whilst all reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy of the contents on this site. Please note that pearls are natural products and so no two strings of pearls are the same in terms of shape, size or colour. As natural products, they also have small defects on them. Please note the lengths of necklaces are approximate due to their handmade nature. Furthermore, in view of changes in reproduction on our website, there may be small changes in colour.

Perla di Marina reserves the right to change the data, references, product specifications, pricing or otherwise amend the contents in full or part at any time without notice.
