Primarily, these email addresses are for the purposes of confirming a customer’s order or status of such orders or in response to any enquiries received from the sender. We do not share this information. We may retain information provided by visitors to our site and transaction information such as customers' purchases, amounts and types of products purchased and other information relevant to such purchases. We use industry-standard encryption technologies to ensure the security of customer data when transferring and receiving customer data exchanged with our site server. Our website, like most e-commerce websites, uses industry standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to provide secure payment transactions. This facility is provided by Worldpay, a recognised leader in providing encrypted and safe transfer of credit, debit or charge card details. When you have added an item to your basket, you will be given the opportunity to 'checkout' or continue shopping. Selecting checkout will take you to the sign in page, where you may simply create an account or just sign in if you have shopped with us before. Then you will be taken though the confirmation process, for delivery & billing confirmation and product confirmation. When you confirm your order, you will be diverted to a safe Worldpay server which you can recognise from a 'locked padlock' logo on your bottom menu task bar. You will also notice that the 'HTTP' has changed to 'HTTPS' in the browser's address bar. Select the payment card you wish to use and enter your payment card number and other details as requested. As soon as you place an order through our website, you will automatically receive an 'order received' confirmation email from PerlaDiMarina and a transaction confirmation email from Worldpay. |
